Sox & Auditing
The Sarbanes and Oxley act (SOX) of 2001 requires listed companies to adhere to certain Corporate Governance regulations. This also includes detailed auditing and reporting compliancy regulations for Operating Systems, Databases and Application Systems.
Ineffective or incorrect auditing can negatively impact database performance and have large storage requirements, while also producing such copious amounts of data that finding breaches is tedious to impossible. Additionally, if breaches do occur and timeous notification is not received then the auditing policies are failing.
MyDBA has experience in implementing SOX compliance and meeting stringent auditing requirements across these three tiers.
